Job Purpose:
IT PSAM executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing IT hardware, software, and services while ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, and timely delivery. The role works closely with IT, finance, legal, and vendors to support business and technology objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and organizational skills.
- Global procurement includes managing end-to-end procurement of IT hardware, software, licenses, cloud services, and maintenance contracts.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard IT vendors and service providers.
- Coordinate with IT teams to understand technical requirements and demand forecasts
- Track purchase orders, deliveries, renewals, and asset lifecycle
- Preparing and Maintaining procurement data in Tracker and Vendor management.
- Result focused and delivering value and competitive advantage to the IT business as measured by customer satisfaction, project execution, value improvement, innovation, and other areas as applicable.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives
- Registering newly procured Asset in ZOHO (Laptop, Desktop, Mobile, Switches, Routers & UPS).
- Timely follow-ups for Delivery with Vendor, Explored options for Cost Effective Business and Data Management
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Essential:
- Strong analytical capability with experience in structured data, pricing, tariffs, or cost models.
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to quickly learn bespoke calculation tools.
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and validation.
- Confident communicator, able to engage professionally with global external stakeholders.
- Proven problem solver, comfortable interpreting complex or ambiguous tariff structures.
- Ability to manage high volume workloads at pace without compromising quality.
- Experience with IT, data, or business intelligence tools.
- Exposure to port operations, logistics, or maritime services would be desirable.

Education, and Professional Qualifications:

- Degree of equivalent

- STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)
