Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, validation, and processing of financial market data from various sources.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for data transformation, automation, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Index Research, IT, and Product to ensure data integrity.
- Help document data workflows and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot issues under supervision.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Basic proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Familiarity with relational databases and data structures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills in English; German is a plus but not required.
- Interest in financial markets and index methodologies is a plus.
