MSCI’s Indexed Investments & Solutions team is part of our OneMSCI Client Coverage organization. We work with some of the world's largest and most sophisticated investors, helping them navigate the evolving investment landscape through MSCI-linked investment solutions.


Our team connects clients to MSCI’s index capabilities, market insights and investment expertise across equities, fixed income, factors, sustainability and climate, thematic and multi-asset solutions. We also contribute to the development of new investment ideas, combining research, data and innovation to support the evolving needs of investors.

As an Indexed Investments & Solutions Specialist, you will partner closely with wealth managers, private banks and asset managers across the DACH region. Acting as a trusted investment specialist, you will engage with CIOs, portfolio managers, fund selectors and portfolio construction teams to help them better understand MSCI-linked investment solutions and the role they can play within portfolios.


This is a highly visible role that combines client engagement, investment expertise and collaboration across MSCI’s global research, strategy, product and sales teams.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Promote MSCI-linked ETFs and support the adoption of index-based investment approaches across the DACH region.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with wealth managers, private banks and asset managers.
  • Act as an investment specialist, engaging clients on portfolio construction, market themes and investment implementation.
  • Explain and prototype index-based investment approaches across equities, fixed income, ESG, factors and multi-asset strategies.
  • Partner with research, strategy, product and sales teams to deliver consistent investment insights and client engagement.
  • Contribute to investment thought leadership and thematic content shared across regions.
  • Support client discussions through market insights, use cases and client feedback.
  • Advance the OneMSCI agenda by leveraging expertise across indexes, analytics, data and portfolio implementation capabilities.
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
  • Minimum seven years of experience within asset management, private banking or a related investment-focused environment.
  • Experience in portfolio management, fund selection, investment strategy, portfolio construction or a similar investment role.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, portfolio implementation and index-based investing, including ETFs and mutual funds.
  • Knowledge of equity, fixed income, factor, sustainability and climate, thematic and multi-asset investment approaches.
  • Ability to engage credibly with senior investment professionals and communicate complex concepts clearly.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate investment insights into client-focused discussions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Existing relationships within the Swiss wealth management or private banking community are advantageous.
  • Programming knowledge (Python, VBA or SQL) is beneficial but not required.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English and German and/or French.

Skills Required
