L&R is one of the largest distributors and purchasers of cosmetics in the United States. We now distribute over 40,000 items (cosmetics, toys, school supplies, hosiery, hair accessories, OTC, HBA, and more) through 3 regional warehouse locations in Arkansas, New Jersey, and Nevada.
JOB SUMMARY
The Independent Sales Administrative Support plays a vital role in supporting the sales channel by taking the lead on customer onboarding, inquiries, orders, and updates. Monitoring inventory levels, fill rates and item status in partnership with other departments is key. Back-end support of ecommerce channels, both internal and external, will ensure updated product listings and smooth order processing. This position will stand as a crucial funnel point between the Independent Sales Reps and backend systems, teams and data. This position is fully remote.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Key point of contact for Independent Sales team as well as new prospective customers.
- Responsible for validating new customer opportunities and ensuring all supporting documentation is submitted.
- Offer support for customer questions, updates and any order issues.
- Support sales reps with data pulls, inquiries, and updates.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and product availability.
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely replenishment.
- Monitor and strive to improve fill rates with replenishment and category management teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams; Sales, Supply Chain, Replenishment, Customer Logistics, Sales Execution to align on category strategies and objectives.
- Assist in coordinating category-related initiatives and projects.
- Create and maintain product listings, and help facilitate order processing on both internal and external ecommerce B2B platforms.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in a related sales administrative support role within the CPG industry is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analytics tools required; Asana a plus.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced industry.
- Familiarity with market research methodologies is a plus.

- Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
