Job Description: Solution Architect, Engineering
Location: Hyderabad, India
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: 10+ Years
A seasoned hands-on architect, who brings depth in enterprise application architecture, a strong data modelling mindset and a hands-on exposure to cloud-native and AI first (agentic) paradigms. This role sits at the intersection of application modernization, data platform design and next-generation AI integration. This role also blends hands-on rapid engineering with architecture thought leadership, enabling teams through reusable patterns, best practices, and technical mentorship. The Solution Architect partners closely with Enterprise Architecture, Product teams, and cloud enablement partners to engineer secure, scalable, and reliable solutions aligned to enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and engineer solutions
- Design end-to-end solution architectures for enterprise applications.
- Lead architectural reviews, define integration patterns and establish guardrails for development teams.
- Multi-cloud solution design trade-offs
- Architect and design end-to-end cloud-native solutions at a component level, ensuring consideration for FinOps, scalability, resiliency, security, and maintainability.
- Design, and engineer modular, microservice & event-driven solutions using modern design patterns and best practices.
- Develop reference architectures implementations to accelerate adoption of reusable patterns and solution engineering.
Assess new and emerging technologies. Deliver ‘golden path’ engineering accelerators—IaC modules, microservice templates, pipeline patterns—to reduce solution delivery friction.
Agentic AI Integration
- Evaluate and incorporate agentic AI frameworks into product and operations workflows.
- Design RAG pipelines and agent orchestration layers that connect to enterprise data and APIs
- Define guardrails for responsible AI development – covering observability, explainability, human-in-the loop controls, and compliance.
Cloud and Architecture Enablement (AWS + GCP)
- Design and deploy workloads on AWS (e.g., ECS/Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB/RDS, S3, IAM/networking).
- Design and deploy workloads on GCP (e.g., Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, API Gateway, BigQuery, IAM/networking).
- Drive containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/GKE as applicable).
- Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards, security controls, and operational readiness expectations.
Innovation, Collaboration, and Mentorship
- Partner with engineering teams to define and maintain reusable frameworks, patterns, and engineering playbooks.
- Conduct POCs to evaluate emerging cloud services and frameworks and recommend adoption paths.
- Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring engineers across teams.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience building and shipping enterprise software solutions.
- Strong hands-on expertise in solution engineering (API/microservices design, performance, concurrency, secure coding).
- Demonstrated hands-on delivery experience with AWS and GCP cloud-native services.
- Hands on exposure of AI orchestration frameworks like LangChain/LangGraph.
- Hands on exposure of GCP Vertex AI. Experience integrating AI capabilities into applications (e.g., Vertex AI, GenAI services).
- Demonstrated experience designing data platforms including data warehouses, data lakes and streaming architectures (Kafka, Kinesis or equivalent)
What We Offer
- Opportunity to work on modern cloud-native architecture and engineering at enterprise scale.
- Collaborative and innovative work environment with strong architecture partnership.
- Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
- Continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
