Our Operational Quality team is looking for a new talent, starting at the earliest possible time as Incoming Goods Quality Team Leader (m/f/d) in Hosingen, Luxembourg.
How you’ll add value
We are looking for an Incoming Goods Quality Team leader (m/f/d), who leads and supervise quality control technicians and engineers through carrying out quality control measures to purchased parts and applicable services to ensure that suppliers across supply chain continually deliver their products in line with the design intent and verify their systems to ensure they are compliant with the requirements.
What you’ll do
- Lead daily dialogue meetings for incoming products
- Support, coordinate and lead Supplier Quality Control Technicians and Engineers
- Initiate and maintain continuous improvement solutions based on quality data and production inputs
- Evaluate and determine adequate measurement techniques of purchased products and services
- Monitor, report and strive for continuous improvement of key supplier quality performance indicators
- Coordinate and provide technical support on problem solving activities with cross-functional teams
- Assist in new product launches to ensure that supplier quality meets the required standards
- Create, initiate and guide the implementation of supplier improvement plans
- Manage the approved supplier list and surveillance of outsourced processes
- Assist suppliers with quality awareness training
- Manage supplier audits, outsourced providers and supplier qualifications and scorecard activities
- Facilitate the escalation of unresolved supplier quality issues within assigned projects and suppliers
- Lead and assist the release of new purchased products
- Manage containment and rework activities for purchased products
- Strive for the improvement and optimization of procedures to increase supplier processes efficiency
- Manage and document supplier claims upon its resolution
- Assist in problem solving and implementation of corrective actions upon its resolution
What you’ll bring
- Engineering Diploma Thermal Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a production and quality environment with high quality standards
- Robust analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting
- Effective listening, information sharing, results oriented demonstrating effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Liaise and communicate with other departments, suppliers and other service providers
- Safety, integrity and trust conscious
- Respect of company rules
- Ability to plan and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines
- Quality and timely decision making

- Mechanical and electrical inspection methods

- Knowledge statistics theory and principles (Lean 6sigma, SPC, MSA)
- Proficient in the use MS Office
- Experience on ERP systems
- Proficient in problem-solving tools (8D process, fishbone diagram, 5-Why, PDCA, DMAIC, etc)
- Ability to present data effectively
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), advanced level of French or German is an asset
