About the role
Monitor and record all income and postings through the process of a detailed daily audit. The audit ensures the accurate recording and classification of revenue and related transactions and enable detection of discrepancies in the process.

What you will do

  • Ensure correct classification of all revenue, including miscellaneous and accounts payable related revenue.
  • Review banquet checks against Catering orders for accuracy of preparation.
  • Prepare and input month-end documents for general ledger processing including revenue journal, cash receipts journal and entertainment journal.
  • Reconcile General Ledger accounts as assigned.
  • Comply with and enforce Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Establish and maintain communications with the night audit and review night audit work daily for accuracy.
  • Prepare and distribute the daily management review package.
  • Assist in other areas of the accounting office as needed.
  • File documents and reports.

What you bring

Education

  • College education or equivalent experience

Experience

  • Experience required by position is from one to two years of employment in the related position with Four Seasons or other organization.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Requires a working technical knowledge of
  • generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-Job or through a series of professional certifications.
  • Ability to operate fax, scanner, copier, telephone, adding machine, calculator.
  • Requires knowledge of the ability to operate computer equipment.
  • Ability to read, speak and write English.
