Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Inbound Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all inbound warehouse operations. The role will be responsible for managing the inbound team, ensuring accurate receiving and documentation of products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate all inbound activities, including receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming products.
- Lead and manage the inbound team, including task allocation, training, and performance follow-up.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all inbound shipments.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation and management.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to resolve shipment discrepancies and operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety standards and company procedures.
- Use inventory management systems to track inbound product movement and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct regular audits of inbound processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor inbound KPIs and prepare performance reports for management.
- Ensure the team follows SOPs and maintains high standards of accuracy and productivity.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in inbound logistics.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse operations.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities.
Skills Required
- Supervise and coordinate receiving, inspection, and put-away activities according to SOPs and SLAs.
- Assign daily tasks and priorities to the inbound team to ensure operational efficiency.
- Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and support employee development.
- Manage schedules, attendance, and daily operational issues within the inbound section.
