Onsite: 
This position is open to applicants or individuals who are located in or around Garland,Tx and able to work 1st shift schedule with flexibility for longer hours based off of business and peak needs. 

 

The Role: 

The Inbound Operations Supervisor is a key leader within a multi-client 3PL distribution center, responsible for overseeing inbound functions such as receiving, putaway, replenishment, and returns. This role ensures inbound materials are processed accurately and efficiently to support inventory accuracy and client satisfaction. 
 

The supervisor is accountable for managing and motivating teams to meet productivity, safety, and departmental goals. Success in this role requires strong leadership, a hands-on approach in a manual environment, and a commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement. 
 

What You'll Do: 

  • Supervise inbound associates and oversee daily operations including receiving, returns, putaway, and replenishment. 

  • Assign tasks and manage shift flow to meet operational requirements, service levels, and cost targets. 

  • Ensure inbound schedules and dock appointments are met, and escalate discrepancies as needed. 

  • Verify accuracy of received goods and coordinate with Inventory teams to maintain cycle count integrity. 

  • Coach team members on SOPs, WMS usage, and accuracy standards to drive performance and compliance. 

  • Monitor and report inbound KPIs such as receiving UPH and dock-to-stock time. 

  • Hire, train, and develop team members while maintaining a safe and policy-compliant work environment. 

  • Continuously improve processes and practices to enhance efficiency and service delivery. 

 

Who You Are:  

  • A hands-on leader who motivates teams to perform at their best in a fast-paced, fulfillment environment 

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a focus on operational accuracy 

  • An effective communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across departments 

  • Customer-focused, consistently prioritizing actions that enhance service levels and client satisfaction 

 

What You’ve Done:  

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in fulfillment operations, including eCommerce, B2B Wholesale, or similar logistics environments 

  • 2+ yrs in a inbound operaations role 

  • 1+ years in a lead or supervisory role, with a proven ability to motivate, train, and develop high-performing teams 

  • Experience working for a 3PL Provider 

  • Hands-on experience in inbound operations such as receiving, returns, and putaway 

  • Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Order Management Systems (OMS), Excel, and other Office applications 

  • Strong understanding of inventory processes and operational best practices 

  • High school diploma or GED required 

Physical Demands  

  • Shift/Schedule:  1st shift

  • Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.   

  • Able to withstand moderate physical activity (standing, walking, bending, stooping over, reaching, etc.).  

  • Able to lift and carry up to 30-50 lbs. on occasion.  

  • Able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time.  

  • Able to work overtime.
