Job Description

  • Responsible for FEM and fatigue simulation of hydraulic components.
  • Analysis and optimization of design concepts using static structural FEM simulation and technical report preparation.
  • Independent handling of simulations as a part of international simulation team.
  • Verification of FEM results against analytical, experimental data.
  • Participation in simulation reviews.
  • Plan, Maintain, track quality & on time delivery metrics for simulation work packages via web-based application like Azure DevOps Server.
  • Support standardization, harmonization and documentation of calculations, methodologies, including working procedures.

Qualifications

B.E. / M. Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering with 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Must have:

  • Knowledge of structural mechanics and fatigue assessment according to international standards, e.g., ASME, FKM Guideline, Eurocode
  • Knowledge of numerical modeling and methods.
  • Knowledge of software e.g., Abaqus, FEMFAT, Creo parametric, Ansys.
  • Experience with simulation of machined/cast components.

Advantage with

  • Domain knowledge of hydraulic valve components
