Essential Functions:

  • Publish, update, and remove web pages and content as provided and approved by the

  • Ensure website accessibility compliance in alignment with ADA and WCAG standards.
  • Maintain version logs and documentation of changes, updates, and system modifications.
  • Provide website analytics and performance reports to IMT and Marketing leadership as requested.
  • Participate in planning discussions related to website enhancements, redesigns, integrations, or system upgrades.
  • Coordinate integrations with external systems, forms, or third-party services as directed by
    IMT.

Response Time and Availability Expectations:

This position operates under defined service responsiveness standards due to its remote and parttime nature.

  • Standard Service Requests: Acknowledge receipt of email or text requests within two (2) business hours during agreed working days.
  • Routine Content Updates: Implement approved updates within one (1) business day unless otherwise prioritized.
  • High-Priority Requests (time-sensitive announcements, homepage alerts, emergency notices): Acknowledge within one (1) hour and publish within four (4) hours when feasible.
  • Critical Website Outage or Security Incident: Immediate response expected, including coordination with hosting providers and IMT leadership.

Although the role does not require a fixed daily schedule, the Web Master must maintain predictable availability during mutually agreed working hours.
Occasional evening and weekend work is expected for:

  • Emergency website outages
  • Security incidents
  • Scheduled maintenance windows
  • Time-sensitive institutional announcements
  • Major website updates or deployments

The Web Master must maintain reliable internet access and the ability to respond to urgent
institutional needs outside of standard weekday hours when necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong working knowledge of WordPress administration, including themes, plugins, security hardening, and performance optimization.
  • Experience managing web hosting environments (shared, VPS, or cloud-based platforms).
  • Understanding of DNS, domain management, SSL certificates, and basic server configurations.
  • Familiarity with website security best practices, malware prevention, and vulnerability monitoring.
  • Working knowledge of website analytics tools such as Google Analytics or similar platforms.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and troubleshooting web-related issues.
