Your Focus
As an Import Logistics Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to ensure timely delivery of raw materials according to logistic specifications after vendor confirmation. This includes providing necessary documentation for the importation process to the Import Team and coordinating with the customs broker for the required documentation by the Warehouse Team.
How You Will Contribute
- Understand and apply the fundamentals of importation process and raw material supply reliability.
- Prepare appropriate documentation including documents for applying import licenses. This ILC does not provide import license, import license will be provided by import team
- Request shipment of material when available, follow up with vendors and 4PL or forwarding agent for shipment status
- Follow the steps to receive and check documents, ensure there’s no discrepancy.
- Oversee the customs clearance process and track the product through transportation until it reaches the warehouse
- Receive shipment documentation, validate information, and prepare necessary paperwork.
- Adhere to all company policies and regulations
- Committed to company’s quality and continuous improvement programs such as MS ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by supervision
What You Will Need To Be Successful
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or Logistics related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the same role
- Knowledge in MS Office, SAP, and ERP
- Proficiency in English communication skills. Fluency in secondary local language will be advantageous.
