What will you do:
The Import/Export Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating the import and export operations of the company. This role ensures compliance with international trade regulations, oversees documentation processes, and works closely with customs authorities and logistics partners to facilitate seamless transactions.
How will you do it:
- Managing inventory control on border for I&E transactions execution.
- Maintain accuracy on Annex 24 data based on I&E operation.
- Develop and Implementation of SOPs, SOW and instructions for process standardization.
- Operation regime of imports definition and execution (AF, IN, F4, F5, RT, V1, A1, A3, K1)
- Audit and conciliations for custom documentation
- Data Stage validations
- Pedimento audit
- HTS validation on Data Bases
- I&E Discrepancies (OS&D) reviewed and resolved
- Support on internal and external audits
- Non-tariff regulations revision
- Fixed Asset control management
- Record keeping control
- Manage BU KPI dashboard performance review for IMMEX deliverables and reporting.
What are we looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in import/export operations or trade compliance.
- Advanced English proficiency is essential for effective communication with international partners and stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and trade compliance policies; Custom Law, Annex 24 - 30 experience, AF, IN, F4, F5, A1, A3, RT, V1, K1
- Excel; Pivot tables, V - look up, etc
- Root cause analysis methodologies (8D’s, Ishikawa diagrams, Decision tree) among ohers & Continuous improvement
