Import/Export Coordinator & Customs Analyst
At the Herstal & Loncin sites
In Herstal and Loncin, you will join more than 200 colleagues specialized in the design, development, production and supply of weapon systems and ammunitions for use by customers in the Defense (MoD), Aerospace (OEM) and Land (OEM) sectors. With the Guided Rocket in the portfolio additional market’s segments are now addressed like Ground-to-Ground applications or Counter-UAS.

Your mission
Proceed with shipments (temporary or definitive movements), import and export, of military items and equipment as well as dangerous goods, in compliance with the contractual clauses and applicable regulations including customs management.
Your responsibilies
- Arrange and plan the transports (IN & OUT) of military goods and equipment, in Belgium and abroad, according to contractual clauses, internal client requests and national & international Export Control rules;
- Prepare all the relevant documents to carry out these operations: pro forma invoices, certificates of origin, packing list, …;
- Manage and monitor the different customs regimes as well as give the right and accurate instructions to the Customs agent;
- Assist in the customs classification of finished products, semi-finished products, and spare parts, and participate in updating internal databases,
- Assist the Trade Compliance Officer with tasks related to customs aspects/subjects;
- Monitor the different customs authorizations (Temporary admission, inward processing, etc.) of the various production & storage plants and generate reports related to the customs activity of these sites;
- Have a basic knowledge regarding the use of national and international regulations on military export control licenses;
- Good knowledge about transport documentation such as CMR, AWB, BL,…;
- Good knowledge about Incoterms ;
- Basic knowledge of dangerous goods transport regulations – ADR/IATA/IMDG is a plus.

- Bachelor's degree in International Business/Transport
- University Certificate: Specialization in Customs is a plus
- 5 years of experience or in similar position
- Fluent in French and English (both written & spoken)
