UCT is looking for a talented Import/Export Coordinator to join us in Cebu! 

Job Summary:

The Import/Export Coordinator is responsible for to process and make entry for import, export and local purchases (farm-in and farm-out).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Detailed oriented in PEZA and Custom procedures
• Monitoring of Importation, Exportation, and Local purchases arrival / departure
• Capable in developing good business relations and with good negotiation skills
• With experience in communicating/transacting with both local and overseas suppliers
• Import:
• Record, change and cancel the manual of processing trade. Cooperate with the customs to supervise the manual timely and coordinate the work between the company and the customs. Communicate with production engineers frequently before the filing of the manual of processing trade and in the management process to ensure the accuracy of the material name and finished product consumption in the manual.
• Import customs clearance: use electronic account books to do import customs declaration work and ensure that customs clearance documents are accurate and effective.
• Process and Make entry for Local Purchases (Farm-In and Farm-out)
• Export:
• Ensure outgoing shipment is accurate and packaged well to be shipped out.
• Packing & unpacking, material handling & shipment preparation
• Arrange and coordinate the delivery of goods on time and make export declaration according to the instruction of sales and plan.
• Other import and export: arrange the return of materials and finished products.
• Coordinate to deal with all kinds of emergencies occurring in the transportation and customs clearance process of freight forwarder and customs broker and follow up the incidents until completion.
• Related to import and export documents (customs import and export goods consignee and consignor declaration registration certificate, processing trade processing enterprise production capacity certificate, certificate of origin, etc.).
• Other tasks assigned by the leader.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledgeable in Import / Export documents such as 8105, 8106, 8110 and the like..
• With strong negotiating and interpersonal skills.
• With good communication skills both oral and written.
• Can work under pressure, flexible, with determination at work, and easy to learn
• Proficient in Microsoft excel.

Experience Requirement:

• 1+ year relevant impex experience, with significant materials related technical experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• 2 years or above logistics, processing trade enterprises work experience
• Experience in capital semiconductor equipment industry preferred

Overnight Travel:
