The Import & Export Analyst is responsible for playing a critical part in ensuring operational continuity and cost efficiency across the supply chain by preventing delays, mitigating financial risks, and optimizing import/export processes. Additionally, it strengthens regulatory compliance and data integrity, enabling accurate decision making and supporting sustainable business growth.
This position reports to the Sales Support Manager and is part of the Sales Operations located in São Paulo - SP and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Manage end to end import and export operations, including processing intercompany purchase orders and coordinating air and ocean freight shipments, in collaboration with diverse areas.
- Ensure compliance with Brazilian trade regulations and international requirements, including documentation accuracy (invoice, packing list, DI) and licensed or regulated product procedures (e.g., ANVISA).
- Oversee customs clearance activities to prevent operational delays and additional port/airport charges. Maintain accurate tax, financial, and foreign exchange records and enter import related expenses in ERP system SAP.
- Monitor KPIs and SLAs for import/export performance and update product master data, including NCM classification.
- Support the creation and maintenance of internal procedures related to trade compliance, documentation standards, systems usage, and operational workflows.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree in international Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in import/export operations, customs clearance, and documentation control.
- Knowledge of Brazilian customs regulations and tax compliance.
- Experience with SLA/KPI monitoring and process improvement.
- Language: fluent Portuguese and advanced English
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office tools to support import/export documentation, expense recording, and operational tracking.
- Experience handling import operations for regulated products, including ANVISA clearance procedures and related documentation.
