ANINE BING is looking for an Import Coordinator to join its Production team based in Paris.
The Import Manager plays a vital role in our global supply chain operations, overseeing all inbound transportation from our international vendor network to our three central warehouses. This individual ensures timely and cost-effective delivery of goods by partnering closely with our Production team and third-party logistics providers.
Strategic, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator, the ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and has a deep understanding of international freight, customs regulations, and vendor management.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage inbound shipments from global vendors to ANINE BING’s distribution centers.
- Analyze and select transportation options based on cost, lead time, and commercial calendar alignment.
- Optimize freight spend and reduce lead times without compromising delivery reliability.
- Collaborate with the Production team to align shipping schedules with production timelines.
- Coordinate with 3PL providers to ensure seamless product flow and accurate tracking.
- Monitor and report on freight performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in logistics or import management, ideally within fashion or consumer goods.
- Deep knowledge of international freight, incoterms, and customs regulations
- Proven experience negotiating with freight forwarders and managing multiple shipping lanes.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a collaborative approach.
- Prior experience working with 3PLs and cross-functional internal teams.
