Import and Export SpecialistJob Description:
Entegris is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Export and Import Specialist to support our US trade operations. This role ensures compliance with international trade regulations, facilitates efficient cross-border shipments, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to optimize compliance and minimize risk.
Key Responsibilities:
Export Operations:
- Prepares and submits Electronic Export Information (EEI) via the Automated Export System (AES) for all applicable export shipments in accordance with regulatory timelines
- Screen customers and destinations against denied party lists and embargoed countries.
- Manage GTS compliance, releasing blocked documents and resolving issues with customer service, product management, and shipping.
- Support the issuance of export licenses and track license usage and expiration.
- Other activities as requested.
Import Operations:
- Support Import brokers for daily customs clearance, including confirmation of HTS codes, Country of origin, and other queries brokers may have.
- Monitor and manage investigations to resolve import regulatory-related issues, such as CF-28s, duty drawback, ACH, TSCA, and TIBs.
- Maintain records of import transactions for audit and compliance purposes.
- Assist in internal audits and external investigations related to trade compliance.
- Other activities as requested.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in international business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in import/export operations or trade compliance in a global manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, EAR, ITAR, and international trade laws.
- Familiarity with Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), Incoterms, and valuation methodologies.
- Preferred experience with SAP GTS or other trade compliance software platforms.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed Customs Broker or Certified Export Specialist (CES) certification.
- Experience in the semiconductor, chemicals, or high-tech manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of dual-use goods and export licensing procedures.
- Multilingual capabilities or experience working with international teams.

- Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, with actual pay dependent on the candidate's overall skills for the role
