As an Implementation Specialist within our Investment Management product solutions team, you play a key role in delivering successful software implementations that help clients optimise their operational and investment workflows. You work closely with clients to understand their requirements, configure solutions that meet their needs, and guide them through onboarding, implementation and adoption.

You collaborate across product, development, client support and commercial teams to deliver high-quality outcomes that improve client experience and drive long-term value. Success in this role means building trusted client relationships, managing implementations confidently from planning through to go-live, and continuously improving processes that support scalable and efficient delivery.

  • You manage end-to-end software implementation projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, scope and quality expectations.
  • You configure and customise solutions to align with client workflows, business requirements and operational processes.

  • You collaborate with product, development, support and commercial teams to deliver seamless implementation outcomes for clients.

  • You act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their business needs and recommending best-practice use of Iress solutions.

  • You deliver client onboarding sessions, product training and ongoing implementation support to drive adoption and successful outcomes.

  • You proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve implementation issues, escalating technical challenges where required.

  • You maintain accurate project documentation, including implementation plans, configuration settings, client requirements and status updates.

  • You contribute to the continuous improvement of implementation processes, delivery standards and client experience practices.

  • You provide feedback to product and development teams on client trends, enhancement opportunities and solution improvements.

  • You build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support successful delivery and client satisfaction.

  • Collaboration across teams, locations and time zones

What you will bring

Experience and Knowledge

  • 2–4 years’ experience in software implementation, client onboarding, consulting or a similar client-facing technology role.

  • Experience working with investment management or trading technology environments will be highly regarded.

  • Strong understanding of software systems, workflows, integrations and data structures.

  • Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering outcomes in a fast-paced and client-focused environment.

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving capability.

  • Experience working collaboratively across cross-functional teams including product, engineering, support and commercial teams.

  • Knowledge of implementation methodologies, client engagement practices and change management principles.

Qualifications and certifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or a related discipline.

  • Relevant industry or technology certifications would be advantageous.
