Position Summary: We are seeking a highly driven operations professional who is passionate about implementing software-based solutions and business consulting in the ever-changing healthcare industry to join our team as an Implementation Specialist. This position works closely with the DJOHS Sales Team, Field Service, and the DJO Sales Teams to expedite the onboarding process of new customers while also servicing existing DJOHS program customers in various capacities, including but not limited to additional program training, annual business reviews, and identifying opportunities and challenges within the current customer’s program. The position is primarily measured by incremental, profitable revenue production for DJO through the DJOHS programs portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with DJOHS Area Directors during operational aspect of sales cycle.
  • Ability to have C Suite-level conversations in physician practices, hospitals, and other healthcare settings.
  • Creates and manages “closed deals” funnel and independently organizes onboarding process. 
  • Works with DJOHS Area Directors to plan for strategies and initiatives that typically impact multiple and/or complex systems, workflows, operations and/or products.
  • Proficiently and diligently onboards DJOHS program customers while maintaining expert organizational skills.
  • Organizes and leads onboarding process for new customers and coordinates course of action with DJOHS, DJO Sales Teams, and customer.
  • Creates detailed onboarding process for each DJOHS program for both physician and acute care settings.
  • Identifies best practices and recommends new workflows and/or procedures.
  • Develops “World-Class” customer value and service. 
  • Keeps DJO Management and Sales Teams abreast of industry and local dynamics, legislative changes, and market movements that impact the DJOHS Programs offerings and strategy.
  • Develops business requirements, communication and training strategies, including design and delivery.
  • Personally manages strategic customer projects and works with Sales Team to develop relationships with key customers to enhance existing programs. 
  • Develops revenue cycle improvement processes and metrics in existing DJOHS accounts including: OfficeCare, MotionMD, OARAScore, and Revenue Generation accounts.
  • Provides expert understanding of DMEPOS reimbursements economics, product expertise, product conversion/crosswalk proficiency and payor trends regionally and nationally.
  • Staffs and supports local, regional, and national trade shows as necessary. 

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Sports Medicine, or a related field equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations/service in the healthcare industry required.
  • Strong customer relations and service background with an understanding of workflow in physician, and acute care settings required.
  • Strong presentation skills required.
  • Proficient in MS Office, specifically MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, required.
  • Experience presenting to C-Suite level customers required.  
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License and current automobile insurance.
  • Must satisfy third-party credentialing requirements to gain access to hospital accounts.
  • Must be able to travel up to 90% of the time, some of which will be required by air.

Travel Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel up to 90% of the time.
  • Typical work-related travel assignments range 1-5 days, and as such overnight, out-of-town stays are required.
  • May include considerable time spent traveling in car to customer accounts as dictated by territory.
  • Air travel also required.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Previous experience in an orthopedic clinic highly preferred
  • Experience in the orthopedic/DME industry strongly preferred. 
  • Working knowledge of MotionMD software preferred.
