How YOU will make a Difference:
As HMA expands our footprint, we have a unique opportunity to partner with another organization to provide expertise in onboarding new clients, renewing clients as well as supporting the proposal process as needed. The Implementation Specialist at HMA will play a key role in our efforts to build upon current workflows and curate how they will coordinate with our new partner. Ongoing the role will focus on improvements, developing efficiencies, and participating in department as well as some corporate projects.
What YOU will do:
- Lead implementation of new HMA customers, including project activities, facilitating discussions with client and broker decision makers around benefit design and products and services. Communicate with internal and external stakeholder's status and timelines of deliverables.
- Accountable for client education and management of expectations. Will identify and communicate issues that surface during the implementation process working to solve and coordinate resolution.
- Manage renewals by coordinating cross functional teams ensuring effective and efficient execution of renewals according to the express intent of the client. Focus on strong communication skills between business units and assigned subject matter experts.
- Partner with Sales Operations counterparts and subject matter experts to evolve and enhance processes, own template updates, support documentation, and provide training as needed.
- Identify and develop strategies to reduce the risk presented by single points of failure or lack of redundancy of critical components within implementations, renewals, or proposals as applicable.
- Maintain an excellent working knowledge of HMA's product portfolio, operational capabilities and processes related to enrollment, invoicing, and plan programming.
- Advocate, develop and execute continuous process improvement mythologies and tools.
- Work closely with Sales Executives to review pipeline of clients, supporting finalist presentations, coordinating completion of RFPs as it pertains to HMAs operations, execute other deliverables as needed.

Knowledge, Experience, and Key Attributes needed for Success:
- BA degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of implementation experience (health insurance industry preferred).
- 1+ years of project management experience with a track record of leading successful projects.
- 3+ years of experience working successfully in cross-functional teams.
- Results driven & detail oriented.
- Highly organized.
- Someone who has great communication skills (verbal and written) and can communicate with all levels of personnel internally and externally.
- Passionate about delighting customers by consistently exceeding their expectations.
- Eager to be part of a fun, collaborative, fast-paced team.
- Experienced using workplace tools like Smartsheet, Responsive, Microsoft Dynamics, MS Office Suite, etc.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this position in the greater Seattle area is $69,000 - $89,000 and varies dependent on geography, skills, experience, education, and other job or market-related factors. Performance-based incentive bonus(es) is available. HMA is primarily a remote workforce, requires a reliable internet connection, and provides all hardware. Some roles are required onsite 1-3 days per week/month while other roles are 100% remote.
