About PatientIQ

PatientIQ is a fast-growing healthcare technology company on a mission to improve patient outcomes through smarter, data-driven care. We work with healthcare providers, life sciences organizations, and research institutions to transform clinical insights into action. As we scale, we are investing in strong operational infrastructure to enable consistent, predictable growth across the commercial organization.

About The Role

The Implementation Project Manager at PatientIQ is a strategic leader responsible for delivering complex, enterprise-level implementations across large health systems and healthcare organizations. This role owns the full lifecycle of implementation engagements, from executive kickoff through go-live and measurable value realization, ensuring delivery excellence across technical, operational, and organizational dimensions.

This individual will lead sophisticated SaaS implementations that frequently include EHR integrations, data migrations, system conversions, and workflow transformation initiatives. The Implementation Project Manager serves as the executive-facing delivery lead, aligning customer stakeholders, EHR partners, and internal cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes in highly regulated and complex environments.

The ideal candidate combines enterprise program leadership with startup agility, bringing structure and rigor while remaining adaptable and solutions-oriented. They take ownership of outcomes and proactively remove obstacles, partnering across teams to ensure delivery success.

What You'll Do

Enterprise Implementation Leadership

  • Own end-to-end delivery of enterprise implementations from kickoff through go-live, inclusive of complex EHR (e.g. Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner) integration builds, conversions, and migrations.
  • Develop and govern comprehensive project plans covering EHR integrations, interface builds, data validation, system configuration, workflow redesign, training, and go-live monitoring.
  • Establish & maintain clear governance structures, communication cadences, and executive status reporting mechanisms to fit large-scale health system engagements.
  • Drive achievement of time-to-first-value, user adoption, and other implementation success metrics.

Stakeholder Engagement & Risk and Escalation Management

  • Lead communication to executive and operational stakeholders, ensuring implementation progress, risks, and impact is communicated clearly at all levels of customer organization.
  • Identify and mitigate cross-functional risks across technical, clinical, and operational workstreams, maintaining strong documentation and change management discipline.
  • Escalate and resolve issues with clarity and urgency, balancing customer experience with internal resource management.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction as measured by NPS, CSAT, and long-term expansion readiness.

Startup-Minded Ownership & Continuous Improvement

  • Operate with high accountability and a bias toward action in a fast-growing environment.
  • Think outside the box of traditional project management when necessary to remove obstacles and maintain delivery momentum.
  • Drive strategic internal initiatives aimed at improving the scalability and efficiency of the implementation process, focusing on scalable frameworks, playbooks, and tools as PatientIQ grows.
  • Drive internal process improvements informed by KPIs, delivery metrics, and enterprise client feedback.

RequirementsWhat You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management leading enterprise SaaS implementations, preferably within healthcare or a regulated industry.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise implementation governance, risk management, and change management principles, with experience operating in growth-stage SaaS, consulting, or professional services environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large health system clients and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience or exposure to EHR integrations (e.g., Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner) work preferred, but not required
  • Proficient with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Notion), collaboration tools (Zoom, Slack, Google Workspace, Hubspot CRM), and Microsoft Office Suite.
