Liberty Dental Plan is hiring—drive seamless client onboarding and operational success as our Implementation Project Manager to join our growing national teams!


The Implementation Project Manager leads client-facing initiatives, including new client implementations, expansions, and complex renewals. This role serves as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring seamless coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver successful onboarding and operational readiness.

Scope & Impact

  • Lead projects from intake through implementation and completion
  • Translate state-driven and regulatory requirements into actionable execution plans
  • Ensure alignment with contractual obligations and deadlines
  • Drive accountability across teams without direct authority
  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and implementation partners

What You’ll Do

Client Implementation & Delivery

  • Serve as the primary point of contact during client onboarding and solution deployment
  • Support or lead onboarding initiatives and operational implementation projects
  • Coordinate the collection, validation, and configuration of client data and plan documentation

Project Management & Execution

  • Develop, execute, and adapt project plans to meet evolving requirements
  • Track milestones and maintain detailed project status documentation
  • Facilitate project meetings, provide status updates, and drive stakeholder alignment

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams (Provider Relations, Eligibility, Claims, IT, Clinical) to meet implementation requirements
  • Ensure operational readiness through effective coordination and communication

Client Experience & Issue Resolution

  • Act as the first line of response for client questions during onboarding
  • Identify, manage, and escalate risks or roadblocks to leadership as needed

Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure successful transition to account management
  • Contribute to process improvements and documentation to enhance efficiency

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in implementation, client onboarding, healthcare operations, or project coordination
  • This position is responsible for leading implementation and operational projects tied to state Medicaid contract changes, plan amendments, and regulatory updates, translating requirements into executable plans and driving full implementation through go-live.
  • Medicaid program experience or work with state-based healthcare contracts (Highly Preferred)
  • Experience translating regulatory or contractual changes into operational workflows
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI)

Preferred Certifications

  • PMP, CAPM, Six Sigma, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is $75,000 – $90,000, excluding benefits and potential bonuses. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, and education. Liberty is committed to pay equity and also considers internal equity among current employees when making compensation decisions.

Please note that offers are typically not made at the top of the salary range, allowing for future growth and advancement.
