In 2022, Roadtex was acquired by Echo Global Logistics. The acquisition brings a truckload brokerage and expanded transportation management solutions to Roadtex's customers while providing Echo with our national warehouse footprint and advanced temperature-controlled transportation solutions. 

Position:

Implementation is responsible for the successful onboarding of new Roadtex & EchoChill clients. You will act as a liaison for our new clients by coordinating and executing the implementation process. Implementation provides a single point of contact to assist in things such as contact execution, credit terms establishment, TMS carrier onboarding, and training on all aspects of the solution. This is a key role that will lay the groundwork for successful, long-term partnerships.

  

General Responsibilities 

  • Act as a key onboarding lead coordinating all customer-related activities during the implementation period among all departments including Sales, IT, Operations and Finance 
  • Implement and train customers on CustomerConnect web-based technology 
  • Gather information and requirements from new customers
  • Ensure a smooth hand-off of accounts from Sales to Account Managers and CSR departments. 
  • Develop Implementation Plans and Timelines (IT, Operations, Product Management, Account Management) 
  • Partner with Operations to setup account infrastructure throughout the implementation life cycle 
  • Work with the Pricing team to set up customer specific pricing.
  • Assure 100% client satisfaction 

Characteristics & Experience 

  • Strong background in customer service & process execution 
  • Transportation/Supply Chain experience required 
  • Experience using Power Point, Excel, and Word 
  • Strong knowledge of Roadtex operating systems  
  • Customer-facing experience
  • 5+ years work experience
  • Proven performer who is effective at “multi-tasking” 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Self-managed and motivated 
  • Enjoys and thrives in fast paced, fluid work environment 
  • Ability to follow through with tasks to their completion 
  • Very organized and detail oriented 
  • Ability to travel up to 10-20%

Education 

  • Undergraduate Degree.  Supply Chain/Logistics or Operations Management degrees preferred

Work environment/physical demands summary:

This position is a remote position (WFH) with the expectation to travel to other locations as needed. The role uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment may be typical of that of an office with an open seating floor plan. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear.
