What We Need:
As Synapse Health continues to expand its network of payer and health system partnerships, we are seeking an experienced and highly collaborative Implementation Manager to lead complex, multi-state partner launches and strategic initiatives. This role is critical to ensuring new partnerships are executed seamlessly—from initial planning through go-live and post-implementation evaluation.
The Implementation Manager will serve as a central point of coordination across internal teams and external partners, translating business requirements into actionable implementation plans and ensuring delivery against timelines, scope, and quality expectations. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Supplier Solutions & Implementation, this individual will work cross-functionally across Operations, Technology, Network, Sales, Legal, and Compliance to drive successful outcomes and scalable processes.
This is an ideal opportunity for a strong project leader who thrives in fast-paced, regulated environments, brings structure to ambiguity, and enjoys building repeatable implementation frameworks that support long-term growth.
What You Will Do:
- Lead end-to-end implementation planning and execution for new payer and health system partnerships, including multi-state launches and complex operational rollouts.
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Technology, Network, Sales, Legal, and Compliance teams to define scope, milestones, dependencies, and success criteria.
- Develop detailed implementation plans, timelines, and communication strategies to ensure alignment across internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for implementation execution, providing ongoing status updates, risk identification, and issue resolution.
- Proactively monitor implementation progress against established timelines and deliverables, clearly setting expectations and driving accountability.
- Identify, assess, and escalate risks or blockers; lead conversations to define scope changes, evaluate impacts, and recommend solutions.
- Analyze data and evaluate analyses conducted by others to assess performance, readiness, and post-launch outcomes.
- Prepare clear, concise reports and business cases that synthesize findings and support data-driven decision-making with impacted leaders.
- Identify gaps in processes, workflows, or tools; ensure solutions are developed, documented, and communicated effectively.
- Partner with IT and Operations teams to support system enhancements, process improvements, and operational readiness where required.
- Lead post-implementation reviews and lessons-learned sessions to drive continuous improvement and scalability.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of implementation best practices, templates, and playbooks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned in support of organizational goals.
