Position Summary
This role is a full-time, project-based Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM Product Management Implementation Engineer responsible for delivering a governed, scalable product master capability across the enterprise. The position leads the end-to-end workstream, from solution design through configuration, data migration, integrations alignment, testing, cutover, and hypercare. Responsibilities include ensuring strong cross-functional alignment with dependent Oracle SCM and ERP areas such as Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, Planning, Costing, and Order Management.
A key expectation is the ability to translate complex business requirements into implementable designs, including mathematically driven logic for derived attributes, conversions, validation formulas, rounding/tolerances, and other complex calculation requirements. The role also drives high-quality outcomes through disciplined documentation, stakeholder management, defect triage, and delivery governance.
Success in this position requires deep hands-on Oracle Fusion Product Hub experience, proven leadership of implementation projects, and strong analytical and communication skills. Experience with the Oracle Redwood user experience is a plus, as is an engineering degree and Food & Beverage industry background, particularly where product complexity, traceability, shelf-life, lot/quality considerations, and process manufacturing requirements influence item master design and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Architecture & Solution Design for Product Hub and Item Management
Lead fit-to-standard and solution design for Item Master / Product Hub, including:
Item classes, attributes, templates, lifecycle phases, UOM strategy
Catalogs, categories, relationships, trading partner item cross-references

Translate business requirements into scalable configuration; document design artifacts (BR100/MD050 or equivalent).
Implementation & Workstream Leadership
Own delivery for the Product Management workstream:
Scope/backlog, RAID, dependencies, decision log, stakeholder communications
Phase/sprint planning and cross-functional coordination
Configure and validate Product Management setup and ensure alignment with:
Procurement, Inventory, Planning, Manufacturing, Costing, Order Management
Drive adoption of fit-to-standard and upgrade-safe design (minimize customizations).
Complex Calculations / Logic Enablement
Define and implement complex rule logic, including:
Conversions, rounding, tolerances, thresholds, and conditional defaults
Derived attribute logic and validation formulas
Algorithmic transformation rules used in data migration and reconciliation
Ensure calculations are traceable (requirement → design → test), accurate, and performant at scale.
Redwood Extension Development
Support readiness and adoption for Oracle Fusion Redwood experiences where applicable:
Advise on business impacts, training updates, and process alignment as UI patterns evolve
Data Migration & Data Quality
Lead item master data migration strategy and execution:
Profiling, cleansing, de-duplication, enrichment, mapping, and load sequencing
Reconciliation approach and data quality KPIs (completeness, accuracy, uniqueness)
Establish governance controls and post-go-live maintenance procedures.
Integrations & Reporting
Define item/product data integration requirements and patterns across systems.
Partner with technical teams on interfaces, error handling, monitoring, and reconciliation.
Define OTBI/reporting requirements for product data governance and operational control.
Testing, Cutover & Hypercare
Own SIT/UAT scenario design and execution leadership; manage defect triage and resolution.
Lead cutover planning for final loads and go-live sequencing.
Drive hypercare stabilization and transition to support with runbooks and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
