About the team - Professional Services ANZ

The Professional Services Team ANZ provides presales support, solution consulting, delivery services and implementation support to our customers throughout their engagement and customer life cycle with GBG. This Includes technical and functional support, and advisory services for several products and services in identity verification, identity fraud, biometrics solutions and project management services. We work directly with our customers to ensure their requirements are met and that they can consume the GBG product(s) they've purchased within the shortest possible timeframe.

The Role - Implementation Consultant

Reporting to the Professional Services Director ANZ, the role of the Implementation Consultant is to support the implementation, onboarding and activation of GBG's Identity, Documents and Biometrics, and Compliance and Watchlist Screening solutions for both new and existing customers, including reporting and performance monitoring after customer activation. This is a challenging and varied role where you are required to work directly with customers to confirm requirements and provide guidance on the customer onboarding journey, and work closely with internal stakeholders from sales, product and technology teams for the successful delivery and implementation of our products and solutions. The key deliverables for the role are to:

What you will do
  • Configure, test, release to production, and support our customers to implement GBG’s identity verification, documents and biometrics, compliance and watchlist screening solutions until golive. Our customers include partners and re-sellers.
  • Educate customers about our product and assist customer to understand how to use our products to cover their business needs, becoming a trusted advisor. At the same time, anticipate and communicate project risks (if any).
  • Work with prospects and clients to help define the customer onboarding journey with minimum friction. This needs to be aligned with the configuration that are available on the platform.
  • Assist customers with detailed questions about our product architecture, configuration, APIs, and data reporting.
  • Run as a single point of contact for key allocated projects and manage the end-to-end implementation and consultancy of our biometric and hosted greenID Solutions.
  • Collaborate with presales, sales and technology teams whereas is necessary to support existing and new customers
  • Lead customer requirements workshops and document the agreed configuration / design with the support of solution consultants and Implementation consultants
  • Monitor delivery progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise
  • Define delivery processes for new and revised product releases that Is to be adopted by Implementation consultants, communicate to relevant stakeholders
  • Assist customers with reporting requests, attend to analytics requests such as pass rates analysis
  • Other duties and tasks as guided by your manager

RequirementsSkills we're looking for
  • Excellent client interaction and stakeholder management skills, collaborative work style, and strong interpersonal and team skills.
  • Ability to design and develop technical or customer reference documentation for project work plans, guidelines, standards, procedures, and processes that meet the needs of the target audience.
  • Ability to identify key issues, analyse data, and make recommendations to address problems.
  • Ability to select and use appropriate tools for the job and perform technical research as required to supplement and support Professional Services framework in delivering working product to clients.
  • A confident worker, comfortable with working alone but also a good team player dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willing to be adaptable to changing priorities, and to accommodate the need for urgency.
  • Knowledge in facial biometrics technology would be a definite advantage.
  • Knowledge of SOAP web services, RESTful API's, HTML/JavaScript/CSS.
  • Exposure with Splunk and SOAPUI/POSTMAN
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn the industry and technology used within identity products.
  • Ability to sit comfortable with customers (different levels – from technical to senior stakeholders) to explain our product, conduct workshops and product training.
  • Analytical competency advantageous and the path to growth more in the role
  • Ideally will have banking/financial institution experience
  • • Ideally will have identity verifications, KYC / AML process experience
