Job Description
As IMPEX Manager (PH), you are part of driving the overall Distribution Centre result by supporting day-to-day Import and Export Execution, ensure compliance to standards & local legislation and support global initiatives for trade and customs enhancements.
Support the Distribution Centre operations, embracing the H&M values, policies, and all relevant procedures, and collaborate with the DC (Distribution Centre) Manager and all teams.
Maximize operational excellence, quality, and efficiency in a sustainable way for our customers, in all brands and channels.
Qualifications
- Coordinate and manage all local import and export processes for commercial and NCG. Ensure and manage efficient handling of customs formalities in cross-region trades. Timely submission of entries for customs clearance and ensure compliance with global rules, standards and regulations set by Global Trade & Customs.
- Support opportunities to optimize local customs and tax in line with local regulations and aligned with Global Trade & Customs department and strategies. Communicate with state customs and other regional regulators. Support global initiatives/projects with regional expertise. Review of Freight Invoices both regional and global.
- Closely collaborate with Tax and Accounting to ensure compliance with country requirements. Handle missing / damage cargo with related department both regionally and globally and insurance company.
- Act as local first contact to Regional Sales for cross-border questions for existing set-ups. Ensure compliance with global rules, standards and regulations set by Global Trade & Customs.
- Make business interactions and teamwork across different business functions & subsidiaries to ensure the best trade business solutions.
Additional Information
To be successful as a Impex Manager, you have deep expertise in import and export processes in region across all types of cross-border flows. Strong understanding of Global Trade & Customs rules and regulations for local execution. You are a strong communicator with ability to encourage collaboration, co-creation, and people development by empowering others.
