Our Immigration Consultancy team are a key operating team within our Limes International business. Based in Leiden or Amsterdam and working between 32-40 hours per week as part of the Immigration team, the Immigration Consultant advises clients on immigration matters, particularly work and residence permits for international employees and their families, while managing cases from application through to completion.

- Review and manage multiple client cases, ensuring deadlines for immigration applications are met.
- Advise clients on work permits, residence permit, and broader immigration queries.
- Respond to client emails and calls, providing timely updates or escalating issues internally.
- Prepare and submit documentation, including completing official forms and maintaining digital case files.
- Coordinate logistics such as booking appointments with authorities and supporting expatriates with registrations or bank setup.
- Liaise with colleagues, partners, and external authorities to keep processes moving smoothly.
- Track case progress, update statuses, and follow up on outstanding actions or approvals.
- Proactively identify opportunities to expand services, strengthen client relationships, and contribute to growing the client base through upselling or referrals
- Participate in team discussions and stay up to date with changes in immigration regulations.
To be truly effective you will…
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/university level), ideally in Law or a related field
- Have additional certification and/or demonstrable experience of a minimum of 3 years' in immigration, or global mobility
- Proven experience managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
- Familiarity with Dutch immigration processes and authorities
- Have experience identifying and acting on opportunities to expand services within existing client relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor who adds value beyond core casework
- Have experience managing client retention and growth, understanding broader client needs and supporting cross-sell, upsell, and new business opportunities
- Have exposure to identifying business opportunities and contributing to client growth
- Experience working with international clients or expatriates
- Familiarity with Dutch immigration processes and authorities
- Client-focused and relationship-driven, with a strong service mindset
