**Position Overview **
A high-volume, fast-paced immigration law firm is seeking a skilled Immigration Attorney for its Hagerstown, MD office. This position is available as full-time or contract-based, depending on the candidate's availability and qualifications. We are particularly interested in attorneys with demonstrated experience preparing and litigating Motions to Reopen before immigration courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals.
**Immigration Essential Duties and Responsibilities: **
• Prepare and File Motions to Reopen.
• Prepare and File Family/Employment Based Petitions/Applications.
• Direct experience with Deportation/Removal Defense, BIA Appeals, Motions to Reopen/Reconsider, Asylum, Waivers, Immigrant/Non-immigrant Visas, Adjustment of Status, Naturalization/Citizenship.
• Preparation and appearances before Immigration Courts, USCIS, ICE and CBP.
**Qualifications: **
• Minimum 3 years of immigration law experience, with strong emphasis on litigation and Motions to Reopen.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law (Bar).
• Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to independently review and edit legal work.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in immigration law software and case management systems.
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
