JOB DUTIES:
Develop, modify, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems. Devise and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment. Control and improve the company’s Quality Management System to ensure efficiency and meet the applicable requirements from the Airworthiness Authorities. Analyze and improve the fulfillment process of quality and aeronautical standards. Lead analysis and revision of maps and processes and propose improvements to maintain certifications. Develop reports based on key performance indicators (KPIs) analysis and coordinate changes to business process improvements related to aircraft manufacturing. Provide expert support to corrective action teams and evaluate non-conformities found in the aerospace product, debating with the involved areas, looking for alternatives, solutions, and/or decisions about preventive and corrective actions. Actively manage the company’s quality policy system. Prepare, revise, and standardize all company quality procedures. Perform periodic quality audits to ensure all business processes are compliant with the Airworthiness Authorities requirements. Develop acceptance criteria for quality standards, sustainment after delivery, and completion dates of the manufactured aircraft. Inspect malfunctioning or damaged products to identify sources of problems and possible solutions. Diagnose performance problems by reviewing reports or documentation from customers and field engineers. Inspect malfunctioning or damaged products to help analyze and propose solutions. Investigate system, equipment, or product failures and coordinate actions to find improvement opportunities, alternatives and/or solutions. Participate in Lean and Kaizen programs (P3E) to boost operational safety and efficiency. Ensure compliance with FAA and ANAC regulations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or relation occupations. Experience must include: Technical support for Embraer aircraft models Phenom 100/100E, Phenom 300/300E, and Praetor 500/600. Executive aircraft manufacturing and assembly processes, including executive aerostructures, systems integration, and manufacturing inspection points. Executive aircraft reports and data analysis systems and tools, including Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Quality Management Systems (QMS ISO 9001 and SAE AS9100), Regulatory Reference Platforms (FAA 14 CFR Part 21 & ANAC RBACs), Aircraft Reliability and Performance Reports, Aircraft Delivery Documentation/Reports, Aircraft Drawings, and Aircraft Design System (CATIA). Executive aircraft operation, performance, systems, avionics, databases, and maintenance; Executive Aircraft project and product management; Designated Manufacturing Inspection Representative (DMIR) conformity inspections and reports; Certification Procedures for Products and Articles under 14 CFR Part 21; Executive Aircraft Delivery Documentation; Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) software; FAA and ANAC regulations. Experience can be concurrent.
SALARY: $97,000.00 to $112,000.00/ per year
HOURS: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM / 40 hours/week
