The Imaging Film Assistant is responsible for organizing patient images to be interpreted by radiologists and ensuring accurate tracking of all incoming and outgoing Imaging Services files. This includes importing and exporting images both within the CentraCare organization and to external institutions. The role involves creating CDs and uploading images into the electronic medical record, as well as coordinating the transport of films. The Imaging Film Assistant also maintains and updates current, active, and archived filing systems, ensuring outdated films are properly purged. Additionally, the assistant is responsible for maintaining accurate record-keeping of all outgoing and incoming images through PACS, CDs/DVDs, or Open Litebox, supporting the efficient management of imaging data within the department.
*This role will rotate between the St. Cloud Hospital and the CentraCare Plaza.
Schedule:
- Full-time | 72 hours every two weeks | One day off every other week
- Day shift | 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Every 6th weekend | 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay begins at $17.15 per hour, exact wage determined by years of related experience
- Pay Range: $15.12 - $22.68

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong computer, communication, and customer service skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology required, or completion of course required within 1 year (we will provide course if needed)
