JOB TITLE: Imaging Registered Nurse

DEPARTMENT: Imaging Services

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

A nonexempt position that provides professional nursing care for Imaging Center patients following established standards and practices.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • performs general nursing care to patients
  • Screens patients for appropriate pre-test information.
  • Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards
  • Ensures priority is given to patients in emergency situations
  • Maintains patient confidentiality
  • Other duties as assigned by supervision

PAY RANGE: $40-50/hr to start (dependent upon experience and education)

Qualifications

Education: Minimum: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing program.

Experience: Minimum of 1-year experience in critical care nursing/emergency nursing and/or 1-year experience in cardiovascular, interventional radiology and/or electrophysiology.

Certificate/License: Possession of a current Alaska State Registered Nurse license, current CPR certification, and current ACLS certification required.

Skills Required

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing program
  • Minimum 1 year experience in critical care or emergency nursing, or 1 year in cardiovascular, interventional radiology, and/or electrophysiology
  • Possession of a current Alaska State Registered Nurse license
