Mayvin Inc. seeks a Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA)/Grants Contract Specialist to support our U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) contract in the Prisoner Operations Division (POD). The Contract Specialist will process new and existing IGAs and provide analytical support to help evaluate and justify future rates paid to county and state agencies. 


Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must undergo a Background Investigation (BI)


Responsibilities:

  • Receive all Intergovernmental Agreements applications from various facilities request to do business with USMS or request a rate increase for housing USMS prisoners.
  • Review each application for completeness and accuracy prior to handing it off to the Intergovernmental Agreement Specialists.
  • Assist each Specialist with pre-award development, which includes requesting Department of Labor wage determinations, uploading USMS facility inspection reports, conducting market research and cost analysis to assist Specialist in determining fair and reasonable housing and guard rates
  • Assist with updating policies and procedures, congressional inquiries andFreedom of Information Act requests
  • Assist the Intergovernmental Agreements Team in providing customers with guidance on procurement related matters by way of email requests and phone calls


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 24 hours of business credit.
  • Four (4) years of relevant work experience.
  • Must have working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Recent experience as Grant/IGA specialist
  • Experience with 30-day Procurement Action Lead Time (PALT)
  • FAC-C Level II or DAWIA Level II is preferred
