The Supply Chain Leader will have a primary focus on Supply and demand planning, logistics and customer facing interactions, capability and delivery at ABU level., effectively leveraging the global network and the enterprise solutions (eg Procurement) from the Corporate Center and other Segments to accelerate enterprise priorities and win locally in the IFP Segment

Main responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with the ABU Business team to develop and deliver the overall Strategic Business Plan and Annual Business Plan

  • Develop and implement the ABU Supply Chain multi-year sourcing and supply strategy to meet the needs of strategic business plans and unlock growth

  • Develop the ABU Supply Chain multi-year logistics cost savings strategy and plan for execution as well as accountability to deliver targets in service, forecast accuracy/bias and inventory/DIO

  • Partner with internal customers during the joint business planning process to prioritize innovation and deliver significant business initiatives for the ABU business

  • Ensure maximization of return on investment on capital and resources

  • Participate in key customer partnerships and support delivery of customer experience / innovation programs

  • Provide supply chain leadership throughout the innovation process to ensure delivery of the business value proposition and excellence in execution

  • Act as a key player during strategic supplier top to tops to drive alignment on IFP ABU priorities

  • Act as first point of contact for ABU on all SC matters and partner with other SC functions (manufacturing etc) and COEs to ensure delivery whilst managing through regulatory, labour relations, and geographical complexities

  • Drive Talent Strategy execution, including strategic talent acquisition, performance and development and workplace culture strategies

  • Articulate and connect teams with business strategies and needs, as well as effectively cascade that vision and strategy into actionable and effective programs resulting in executional excellence.

Experience and requirements:

Mandatory

  • 10+ years in Supply Chain with E2E experience and at least 5 years in a director role managing a large regional team in either APAC, EMEA or LAO (inside or outside KC).
  • Visionary and execution-driven mindset and expert knowledge of at least two of the following areas over a regional scope: Supply & Demand Planning; Transportation, Logistics & Distribution with proven design and execution excellence.
  • Experience of strategy development and business case development to drive return on investment
  • Highly collaborative, skilled at in influencing and leveraging across SC matrixed organizations and commercial functions to create solutions and maximize the SC contribution to business growth and results.
  • Uses industry opportunities and external best practice to inform SC Strategy Development 
  • Entrepreneurial approach to Executional Excellence, developing new ways of working to optimize and deliver better service to internal and external customers
  • Critical thinking skills with an ability to tackle unique projects with a positive and problem-solving mindset
  • Fast learner with ability to establish relationships quickly and manage projects under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, having demonstrated inspirational team leadership across multiple countries
  • Develops and nurtures a distinctive, inclusive and agile work environment, and leads continuous talent development
