501723 IESP Technical SME

IronMountain Solutions LLC is seeking a highly qualified Technical Subject Matter Expert to support the International Engineering Services Program (IESP) for the International Apache Product Office (IAPO) within the Apache Attack Helicopter Project Office (AHPO) based in the Huntsville, AL area. The IESP is a collaborative mechanism between the USG and International partners to support sustainment, engineering investigations, software integration, and system modernization efforts to ensure the global readiness of the Apache platform. The candidate will serve as the central Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for International Apache and the Apache PM to help drive platform integration, establish policy alignment, coordinate massive multi-partner budgets, support stakeholder communications, and ensure robust compliance with foreign disclosure guidelines. The IESP Technical SME will bridge the gap between AHPO leadership, IAPO leadership, FMS Technical Leads, International Program Managers, FMS partners/FLOs and OEM partners. Candidates should have excellent organizational and communication skills with experience in Foreign Military Sales and knowledge of the Apache AH-64 platform.
Responsibilities:
- Sustainment Identification: Identify candidate projects, Army contracts, and other sustainment activities for possible inclusion as IESP efforts.
- Technical & Business Analysis: Analyze technical requirements and provide input and feedback to the business office in support of the cost and schedule of candidate IESP projects and associated Business Case Analyses (BCAs).
- Policy Optimization: Evaluate IESP processes and policies to recommend the most effective and efficient means of executing IESPs.
- Workforce Enablement: Develop and maintain IESP policy, guiding documents, and training materials for the workforce, serving as the definitive SME on IESP applications.
- Strategic Relationships: Build and maintain high-trust relationships within AHPO, international partner nations, and other government agencies to enable seamless communication flow.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with the successful execution of IESPs.
Qualifications Required:
- An undergraduate degree in an engineering discipline (software, mechanical, electrical, etc.) with at least ten (10) years of experience in Systems Engineering
- Preferred candidate will have knowledge of the Apache AH-64 attack helicopters, their systems, subsystems and components.
- Strong interpersonal skills are a must to facilitate coordination with configuration management, contracts, outside contractors/vendors, engineers, project/program leadership and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) partners.
Security Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance
