How This Role Impacts Live Oak and its People
As an Identity & Access Management Engineer, you will be a key member of a team responsible for the delivery of information security programs related to Identity and Access Management (IAM) for the company. These programs must ensure that:

What You’ll Do at Live Oak
- Be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and integrating Identity and Access Management systems and solutions.
- Drive and build the road map around IAM artifacts (strategy, architecture, solution design, etc.).
- Write high-quality technical documentation to describe complex technology design and codify architectural decisions.
- Contribute to building a world-class access management program focused on maximizing automation and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other leads to support the implementation of a secure IAM framework and drive automation where at all possible.
- Analyze and document functional & nonfunctional requirements for various IAM domains (Access Management, Identity Lifecycle Management, Privileged Access Management, Reporting, Analytics, Secrets Management, etc.) across cloud environments and make continuous improvements to align with future state architecture.
- Stay current on the latest innovations related to access management.
How You’ll Do It
- Bring creative ideas to an innovative organization to streamline access management using modern solutions and a focus on automation.
- Improve information security risk-based programs to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information assets.
- Facilitate the information security risk assessment process and work effectively with the technology and risk groups in implementation of security measures.
- Manage, assess, and improve solutions to meet cloud security best practices (e.g., CSA STAR).
- Monitor effective security compliance initiatives that prevent, detect, and respond appropriately to violations of organizational policies and local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
- Actively participate in outage incidents to ensure that root-cause analysis is identified, and knowledge gained is applied for process improvement.
- Build strategic partnerships with key vendors and partners in the Live Oak ecosystem.
- Maintain a current knowledge of industry and regulatory trends and developments for the enterprise technology.
- Be a self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
Required and Preferred Experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in information security related to IAM controls for cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management systems and Privilege Access Management systems and how they relate to governance, identity lifecycle, and account management (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk, etc.).
- Proficiency in at least one general purpose programming language, (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, Rust, etc.).
- Experience with API frameworks (e.g., OpenAPI, REST API, etc.).
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience is required; relevant information technology related certifications preferred, such as Network+, Security+, CISSP, CEH, etc.

The base pay range for this position is $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year. Compensation may also include annual bonuses and long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy. A candidate’s salary is determined by several factors including travel, relevant work experience or skills and expertise.
