SWBC is seeking a talented individual to support secure, accurate, and auditable access to systems, applications, data, and services.  This role supports access requests, user lifecycle changes, authentication and authorization workflows, access reviews, and identity governance activities. The position is a strong fit for someone with experience in access administration, IT operations, service desk support, information security, compliance support, or identity and access management.

Essential duties will include the following:

  • Support joiner, mover, and leaver access activities.
  • Review, process, and document access requests in accordance with established procedures, approval requirements, and access control standards.
  • Provision, modify, and remove user access across assigned systems, applications, directories, and business platforms.
  • Maintain accurate records of approvals, access changes, validation steps, and supporting evidence.
  • Assist with access reviews, access certifications, entitlement reviews, and remediation tracking.
  • Identify incomplete approvals, excessive access, or access inconsistencies and escalate as appropriate.
  • Support authentication and authorization workflows across enterprise identity platforms.
  • Troubleshoot access issues involving accounts, groups, roles, entitlements, authentication failures, provisioning errors, and application access.
  • Support directory services activities related to identity administration, group membership, and access governance.
  • Help distinguish between authentication, authorization, provisioning, directory, and application-side access issues.
  • Escalate complex identity and access issues to appropriate administrators, engineers, or leadership.
  • Support entitlement reviews, access certifications, role reviews, and evidence collection.
  • Assist with privileged access governance documentation, approval routing, and evidence validation.
  • Support access control monitoring and reporting.
  • Document access-related findings, exceptions, remediation actions, and closure evidence.
  • Coordinate with Security, Compliance, Audit, Technology, and business stakeholders to support control validation and audit readiness.
  • Support access control activities that help protect sensitive business and client information.
  • Assist with conditional access, multifactor authentication, phishing-resistant authentication, geofencing, secure file transfer access controls, and related access control processes.
  • Troubleshoot access issues affecting sensitive applications, data, or protected business services.
  • Support evidence collection for authentication, authorization, and access governance controls.
  • Assist with identity and access-related incident support when needed.
  • Work with identity platforms, workflow tools, ticketing systems, and documentation repositories.
  • Support request intake, ticket updates, workflow tracking, and status communication.
  • Maintain clear, complete, and professional documentation.
  • Help improve access request processes, procedures, checklists, and knowledge articles.
  • Participate in incident, problem, change, and request fulfillment processes.
  • Provide professional customer support for access-related requests and questions.

Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Risk Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of One (1) year of experience in identity and access management, information security, IT operations, service desk support, access administration, compliance support, or a related technology function.
  • Experience handling access requests, user lifecycle activities, ticketing workflows, or access-related documentation.
  • Experience working with users, business stakeholders, technology teams, or application owners to resolve access-related issues.
  • Experience maintaining accurate records, approvals, evidence, and request documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow procedures, document work clearly, and escalate appropriately.
  • Understanding of access control, least privilege, authentication, authorization, and user lifecycle concepts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional customer service orientation.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests, priorities, and documentation requirements.
  • Ability to recognize incomplete approvals, excessive access, and access requests requiring additional review.
  • Familiarity with ticketing, workflow, or case management tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and related productivity tools.
  • Experience with enterprise identity and access management platforms.
  • Experience supporting access reviews, entitlement reviews, access certifications, or identity governance workflows.
  • Familiarity with conditional access, multifactor authentication, phishing-resistant authentication, geofencing, secure file transfer, or encryption-related access controls.
  • Experience supporting audit, compliance, security assurance, or evidence collection activities.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, data protection concepts, or regulatory control expectations.
  • Security+, ITIL, Microsoft identity-related certification, or other relevant certification preferred.
