The Idealease Account Manager is responsible for acquiring new and add-on contract business, maintaining high levels of customer responsiveness, and achieving annual sales quotas. Essential Functions
  • Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the use of Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure that they are effectively and consistently put into action.
  • Acquires new and add-on contract business.
  • Responds promptly to customer needs and requests.
  • Achieves annual sales quotas and gross margin targets.
  • Markets Idealease services and support the sales department.
  • Assists in preparing the Annual Business Plan.
  • Develops and implements Lease/Dedicated Maintenance Sales and Prospecting Plans.
  • Maintains and utilizes a customer database for leads and prospects.
  • Provides regular sales reports to management.
  • Interacts with all departments to ensure high customer service levels.
  • Reviews customer evaluations periodically.
  • Follows credit policies and assists with collections.
  • Uses Idealease sales tools including the Rating System and I-Lease Program.
  • Maintains delivery reports for forecasting.
  • Communicates and cooperates with all departments.
  • Participates in training and professional development.
  • Promotes teamwork and uphold company values.
  • Works safely adhering to all applicable safety policies, complying with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Requirements
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Construction Management is preferred.
  • 3 or more years of sales or account management experience in leasing or transportation industry.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None.
Travel: 
  • Some travel required. 
  • Valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements:
  • This position involves extended periods in a stationary position; additionally, occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc. 
  • This role frequently communicates with others, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • Occasionally moves materials or equipment weighing up to 30 pounds. 
  • Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work.
Work Environment:
  • This job is generally performed in a professional office environment.
  • Occasionally works outdoors and may be exposed to weather extremes conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity.
  • Frequently works at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.
