We are seeking an IDC Compliance Intern who will support the compliance team in ensuring that our organization adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. They will collaborate with various departments to ensure that the IDCs (Independent Delivery Contractor) operate in a compliant and ethical manner.
Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining organized records related to compliance activities, including policies, procedures, training materials, and audit documentation.

Support compliance audits and assessments, both internal and external. Help coordinate with audit teams to track findings and assist in recommending corrective actions.

Help generate regular reports on compliance activities and key performance indicators, highlighting potential areas of concern.

Assist in identifying and assessing compliance risks within the organization and collaborate with relevant departments to develop mitigation strategies.

Support investigations into compliance-related issues, incidents, or violations, working under the guidance of the Compliance Manager to resolve matters.

Help monitor and stay updated on relevant federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices.

Aid in interpreting regulations and ensuring compliance across the organization.

Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures, including communicating and training employees on compliance topics.

Help promote a culture of compliance by supporting open communication and raising awareness of compliance matters throughout the organization.
Qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, finance, legal studies, or a related field.

Interest in compliance, regulatory affairs, or legal studies is preferred.

Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards is a plus.

Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work independently.

Bilingual (French and English) – written and spoken.

Willingness to learn and support compliance activities in a professional setting.
