Summary - Varies Based on Department
- Operate various CNC Grinders and or manual grinders, OD, surface, etc and read blueprints to create machined parts to specifications.
- Follow requirements to set up fixturing, cutting tools, etc. to complete job.
- Calculate feeds, speeds, and depths of cut.
- Ability to adjust program and tool parameters to achieve quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret CNC Programs.
- Verify dimensions for conformance with calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other measuring equipment.
- Maintain machine and work area cleanliness, perform minor machine maintenance.
- Complete work safely, to quality specs, and within an acceptable time.
- Troubleshoot any issues that come through your department
- Set up, operate, and maintain various grinding machines, surface grinding, OD, Bryant ID griding, etc.
- Report various metrics as needed

Education and/or Experience
- Equivalent to high school education or related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- May be required to have experience in OD/ID Grinders, surface grinders, centerless grinders, etc.
