  • Actively manage vendor engagements and commercial negotiations, working closely with internal stakeholders and Legal to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.

  • Provide practical, front-line procurement expertise, supporting stakeholders across the University through sourcing events (including publishing tenders, managing platforms, and maintaining records) while balancing competing priorities.

About You

You are a confident and commercially astute procurement professional who thrives in complex, stakeholder‑rich environments. You bring both strategic insight and operational rigour to your work, along with a genuine commitment to collaboration and continuous improvement.

You will have:

  • A degree in Information Technology, Law, Commerce, Business, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and substantial relevant experience

  • Demonstrated experience leading significant ICT procurement activities within a large, complex organisation

  • Strong knowledge of procurement policy, governance and contract management frameworks, ideally in a public sector or university setting

  • Proven negotiation skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders and suppliers

  • High‑level analytical capability with experience translating data into actionable procurement strategies
