As part of our growing operations on the continent, we are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven ICT Manager to lead our technology operations, revamp our Web Services, strengthen IT infrastructure, and drive digital transformation across all Lu Gold subsidiaries.
Role Summary
The ICT Manager will oversee the maintenance, upgrade, and updating of all Lu Gold Web services. This includes WordPress management, hardware/software support, cybersecurity, and the integration of ICT
solutions to improve efficiency across business units. The role requires a leader with strong technical expertise, management skills, and the ability to align ICT strategies with organizational goals.
Advanced Experience with WordPress and Zoho gives you an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
ICT Infrastructure & Systems Management
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases.
- Manage the deployment, monitoring, and support of all hardware and software.
- Ensure business continuity through effective data backup and disaster recovery systems.
- Ensure proper onboarding of all employees into CRM and ERP systems.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
- Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and ensure protection against cyber threats.
- Ensure compliance with relevant ICT regulations, standards, and data protection laws.
Digital Transformation & Business Support
- Identify and implement ICT solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support all Lu Gold subsidiaries with digital tools, platforms, and process automation.
- Lead the development of digital platforms to support business growth.
- Finish all WordPress sites and publish
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Manage and mentor ICT staff, ensuring continuous professional development.
- Collaborate with department heads to align ICT solutions with business needs.
- Provide training and support to staff on IT systems and security best practices.
Reporting & Vendor Management
- Prepare regular ICT performance reports and system audits.
- Manage relationships with ICT vendors, service providers, and consultants.
- Ensure cost-effective procurement and deployment of ICT resources.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- 99% system uptime across all Lu Gold operations.
- Successful deployment of digital solutions that improve efficiency by measurable margins.
- Cybersecurity incidents reduced to near zero.
- Timely resolution of IT support requests (average <24 hours).
- Staff satisfaction with ICT support services above 90%.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in ICT management or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of network administration, server management, and cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise software, databases, and cloud systems.
- Clear and verifiable knowledge of WordPress management.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with ICT regulatory frameworks and data protection laws.
- Certifications such as CCNA, ITIL, CISSP, or PMP are an added advantage.
