About the Role:We are looking for a skilled and driven ICT Engineer to join our team for a high-profile Airport Project Management Consultancy (PMC) assignment in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role plays a vital part in supporting the planning, design review, coordination, implementation, and integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems across airport infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all ICT systems are aligned with international aviation standards, project requirements, and client expectations, while also supporting project delivery from design to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:Support the review, coordination, and validation of ICT system designs, including passive and active network infrastructure, data centers, telecom systems, airport Wi-Fi, VoIP, LAN/WAN, structured cabling, CCTV, access control, and related systems.
Assist in ensuring that all ICT systems are compliant with ICAO, IATA, GACA, and local authority regulations and requirements.
Collaborate with design consultants, contractors, and the client team to ensure proper design integration with other airport systems and services.
Participate in technical reviews, evaluate drawings, material submittals, technical proposals, and shop drawings related to ICT scope.
Monitor and support the installation, testing, and commissioning of ICT systems, ensuring compliance with specifications and timelines.
Participate in site inspections, testing & commissioning processes, and provide support in addressing NCRs, RFIs, and change requests.
Coordinate with PMC and contractor teams to ensure that ICT interfaces are properly managed across airport-wide systems, including special airport systems (SAS), security, and communications.
Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and updates throughout the project lifecycle.
Support project reporting, stakeholder presentations, and coordination meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior ICT Engineer or Project Manager.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in ICT systems design and implementation within the aviation or infrastructure sector.
Experience working on large-scale airport projects in the Middle East is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of ICT standards, structured cabling systems, data center technologies, and airport communication systems.
Familiarity with international codes and standards, including TIA/EIA, BICSI, ICAO, IATA, GACA, and local regulatory requirements.
Proficient in using tools such as AutoCAD, MS Visio, and project collaboration platforms.
