Job Description
OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE
The ICSS Flex Vendor Operational Manager will support the ICSS Flex Vendor Management Office Lead in the day-to-day management and operational oversight of Flex vendor relationships. This role focuses on ensuring vendor performance aligns with contractual obligations and company standards. The Operational Vendor Manager will play a critical role in executing vendor strategies, managing vendor performance, and fostering strong vendor relationships to drive operational excellence. Also it will be responsible of the engagement with the Demand to Fulfill ( D2F) process when there will be request for the use of Flex capacity.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Flex Vendor Strategy and Governance:
- Assist in the implementation of ICSS Flex vendor management strategies as outlined by the the ICSS Flex Vendor Management Office Lead.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of vendor governance frameworks, including performance metrics and reporting systems.
Contract Management:
- Support the ICSS Flex Vendor Management Office Lead and Procurement team in contract negotiations and management.
- Oversee the operational aspects of the contract lifecycle, ensuring timely execution and renewal of vendor contracts in partnership with Procurement and the ICSS Flex Vendor Management Office Lead.
Flex Vendor Performance and Relationship Management:
- Monitor and evaluate Flex vendor performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including operational KPIs from the ICSS Demand to Fulfill process related with the use of Flex Vendors.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective actions for underperforming Flex vendors.
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with key Flex vendors to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify potential risks in Flex vendor operations and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure Flex vendors comply with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Perform regular audits and assessments to ensure Flex vendor compliance and quality standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams, including procurement, finance, legal, and operations, to align Flex vendor management activities with the ICSS and GDD&T operational goals.
- Provide insights and recommendations on Flex vendor operational strategies to ICSS leadership.
Continuous Improvement:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Flex vendor performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
ICSS-Specific Responsibilities:
- Is responsible for the operations of ICSS Demand to Fulfill process linked with the use of Flex Vendor resources: sharing requests, being the bridge for proposals coming from Flex Vendors and Chapter and Platform Teams.
- Create Play Requests on Behalf of requestors when a proposal/service from Flex Vendors is approved.
- Align vendor management practices with the unique needs of the ICSS operations, ensuring seamless integration of Flex vendor services into customer support workflows.
- Collaborate with the customer support team to identify areas where Flex vendor partnerships can enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction
EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven experience in managing vendor relationships and performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
