Reimagine What’s Possible
Performing the implementation of new and enhanced network technology that aligns to Air Products’ and Project Specific documented standards and strategic direction for enterprise and remote site connectivity.
Learn, understand and comply with Air Products standards for global network infrastructure, including wireless, LAN and SD-WAN networks and connectivity.
Work closely with Enterprise Security and Architects and Network Engineering teams to understand high-level designs and deploy services in line with our strategic direction.
Execute engineering efforts to ensure currency and supportability of networking technology.
Provide network support for problem escalations.
Work with external service providers to troubleshoot and commission wide area network technologies
Participate in Cyber SAT, Integrated SAT and last planner exercises
Meet service level commitments to the business both for network incidents and deployments
Configure and commission ICS network hardware
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree or related experience required.
Experience with current LAN, WAN and SD WAN networking routing and switching systems.
Applied industry certifications or 5 years equivalent work experience in a network engineering role.
Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to articulate detailed technical concepts and effectively communicate with end users at all levels
Physical access to applicable KSA Air Products locations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively in global, cross-organizational teams to assist with projects and tasks.
Meticulous attention to technical details.
Ability to work with strategic vendors, outside service/support providers and other third-party suppliers
Industry skill competence certified professionals
Positive Attitude and result oriented approach
Required Skills:
Strong working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and IP address management
Extraordinary ability to manage defined scope for field deployments, planning, project management, coordination, and analytical skills.
Ability to recognize and communicate risks and produce mitigation recommendations.
Intermediate skill with network device configuration using CLIs as well as portal/platform management tools.
Intermediate scripting skills in PowerShell, Python and Linux.
Intermediate troubleshooting skills using networking tools such as Wireshark and vendor platform portals to identify and diagnose infrastructure and connectivity issues.
Ability to interpret design diagrams and accurately document basic network infrastructure environments using programs like Visio.
Basic understanding of ITIL process and procedures for lifecycle management.
