JOB PURPOSE:

Unilever Gen-Next Programme is a long term, part-time internship programme for students help them acquire work experience to kick-start their careers.

You’ll get hands-on experience by working in one of the world’s leading consumer goods companies.

We aim to build the future ready, integrated, customer centric, value driven, transparent and real time supply chain ecosystem through disruptive digital & capability transformation.

Creating a more resilient and focused supply chain that is equipped to thrive in a world of rising complexity and uncertainty starts by re-orienting from an internal focus to an external one to global trends and latest technology, to consumer and supplier landscape, to competitors and different industries, etc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Procurement Operations Gennext, you will be expected to sit in the heart of our procurement operations, where you will work closely with our planning, R&D, marketing, and sourcing unit teams to drive an integrated and efficient procurement process. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing supplier relationships, ensuring timely deliveries as you gain hands-on experience in various facets of procurement and supply chain management.

SKILLS:

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS

• Current enrolled in the 3rd and 4th years of a Bachelor of Engineering program.
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for data analysis and creating IT systems applications to simplify tasks.
• Familiarity in SQL or a willingness to learn SQL.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic procurement team.
• A genuine interest in procurement and supply chain management.

As publicly announced, Unilever will separate its Ice Cream business which is expected by the end of 2025. This role will transfer to the new Ice Cream company.
