Our team in the Central Engineering Group is responsible for developing digital custom design solutions that power cutting-edge CPU and AI compute cores. We are seeking a motivated and technically strong engineer to join our team.

In this role, you will:

• Evaluate the latest technology node and standard cell libraries provided by leading foundries.

• Analyze trade-offs and performance implications of different cell architectures using both foundry and in-house standard cell libraries.

• Use place-and-route (P&R) tools to validate and optimize process technologies and standard cell designs in realistic product modules and design environments.

• Collaborate closely with various business units to align cell and technology development with broader product requirements.

• Present technical findings and recommendations to guide standard cell development strategies and influence design choices for target use cases.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong understanding of advanced technology nodes, standard cell architectures, and their role in the digital design flow.

• Hands-on experience with place-and-route tools, flows, and methodologies.

• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate across functional teams.

• The ability to analyze complex trade-offs and make data-driven decisions.

Education and Experience:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering is a plus

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $127,100 - $203,400

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
