Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented eletrical engineer to join our team! In this role you will provide and perform the following tasks.
Perform various engineering and design assignments requiring the application of basic principles and fundamental theories studied in a four-year university engineering program, and available data in the instrumentation and controls engineering field.
Prepare or assist in preparing fundamental engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
Under the guidance of a more senior engineer, assist in reviewing supplier drawing submittals and technical bid analyses.
Assists in the preparation and issuance of specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
Provide input to CAD Designer/Drafters working on the same project.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Work hours are normally 8 hours per day and 5 days per week, Monday to Friday. Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important with a minimum of 3 days a week working in the office in Pasadena, CA. The associate engineer must reside a commutable distance from Pasadena, CA, working at least three days a week in Pasadena, CA.
The base annual salary range for this position is: $72,000 to $85,000.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
BS in Electrical Engineering (or related field) from an ABET- accredited institution and 0-3 years of related work experience. Eligibility to obtain a Professional Engineering registration in California within five years.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
Requires basic engineering knowledge in electrical engineering or a related field. Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation typically associated with engineering design is also required.

$25.34 - $44.33
