Keycafe is hiring an Associate‑level Intercompany Accountant to support day‑to‑day bookkeeping and month‑end tasks across four entities. You’ll report to the CFO, keep our ledgers clean in QuickBooks Online (QBO) with Dext for ingestion, and track daily work in Asana. Schedule is Monday–Friday with at least 4 hours overlap with Pacific Time (BC).

What You’ll Do- Daily bookkeeping: Process Dext → QBO for 4 company files; code, match, and publish transactions with clean vendor/tax mapping. Issue Purchase Orders, manager A/R and A/P as well as enter Journal Entries.
- Reconciliations: Assist with 9 bank and 2 credit card reconciliations; clear open items quickly and escalate stale exceptions.
- Month‑end support: Prepare standard journals (prepaids, accruals, revenue/COGS), run core reports (TB/GL/AP/AR) and tie‑outs to help deliver a close by the 15th.
- Intercompany & Transfer Pricing: Maintain intercompany schedules; prepare and post routine intercompany and Transfer Pricing (TP) entries under CFO guidance; track FX remeasurement for CAD, USD, EUR, GBP.
- AP/AR hygiene: Support vendor onboarding, expense reports, invoice coding, and aging reviews.
- Workflow & documentation: Use Project Management Software daily to manage tasks; document processes and store support in Google Drive; communicate status/ETAs.
- Continuous improvement: Propose small automations (QBO bank rules, Dext rules, basic AI‑assisted checks) to reduce manual work.
- Hands‑on impact, global product: Contribute to a hardware‑enabled SaaS platform used by customers worldwide.
- Learn from leadership: Collaborate directly with the CFO while building strong fundamentals in multi‑entity accounting.
- Modern toolset & growth path: Work with QBO, Dext, Asana, Slack, Google Drive—and grow into deeper intercompany and TP responsibilities.

Requirements
- Location: Colombia, Argentina, Chile, or Brazil; remote contractor paid in USD.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday; ≥4 hours overlap with Pacific Time (British Columbia).
- Language: Professional English (written & spoken). Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
- Comfortable working with the CFO and cross‑functional stakeholders.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience (public practice or multi‑entity GL environment).
- QuickBooks Online proficiency and Dext familiarity for daily processing.
- Exposure to intercompany workflows and Transfer Pricing support (can learn specifics on the job).
- Working knowledge of month‑end routines (checklists, tie‑outs, reconciliations).
- Google Sheets/Excel: pivots, SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH; comfortable building clean schedules.
- Strong attention to detail and clear, proactive communication.
- Experience at a Big Four or large accounting firm (not required).
- Exposure to SaaS + hardware revenue flows and sales tax/VAT.
- Automation/AI comfort (e.g., Dext exceptions, QBO bank rules, simple Apps Script/Zapier).
